Swim with Confidence

From infants to seniors, the Georgia Mountains YMCA offers swim lessons for everyone. Our certified instructors focus on water safety, skill development, and building confidence in the pool. Lessons are available in private, semi-private, and group formats, with levels tailored to each participant’s abilities and age group.

Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your technique, our programs ensure that swimmers progress at their own pace in a supportive and fun environment.

Swimmers will learn personal water safety skills, floating, kicking, strokes, and breathing techniques. Lessons are structured to promote safety, endurance, and skill mastery at every stage.

What to Expect in Our Swim Lessons

Youth Swim Lessons

For ages 3–12, focusing on progressive skill development.

Teen and Adult SwimLessons

For ages 13+, improving technique and confidence in the water.

Parent and Child Swim Lessons

For ages 6 months to 3 years, introducing water comfort and safety basics.
